Ari Lennox is putting in her bid to become the next Disney Princess.

On Monday (March 20), Lennox took to social media to showcase how her talents could be used for the rumored, live-action production of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.

The Grammy-nominated artist posted a video of herself singing "Almost There," which was originally performed by Anika Noni Rose in the 2009 animated film.

“Hi @Disney I’m Ari Lennox and I would love an opportunity to audition for Princess and The Frog in person,” Lennox tweeted alongside the video.

Rumors of a reimagined Princess and Frog have been taking over the internet amid buzz about upcoming live-action films The Little Mermaid starring Halle Bailey and Peter Pan starring Yara Shahidi.
