Peacock has reportedly filled out the main cast for its upcoming reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. First, the streaming platform named Jabari Banks as the lead, taking on Will Smith's role. Now, Peacock has revealed that Adrian Holmes will play the role of Phillip Banks and Cassandra Freeman will star as Vivian Banks.

Prior to appearing in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot, Holmes appeared in films like Ice Cube's Are We There Yet? and Dwayne Johnson's Skyscraper. Meanwhile, Freeman has taken roles in Denzel Washington's Inside Man, Donald Glover's Atlanta and Netflix's Luke Cage.

Adding to the cast, Olly Sholotan will play the role of Carlton Banks, Akira Akbar will play the role of Ashley Banks and Coco Jones will star as Hilary Banks. Jones is best known for her work with Disney as a key component of Let It Shine. Her co-star, Akbar, appeared in Marvel's Captain Marvel. Sholotan has also stepped up to the big stage after appearing in the popular CW series, All American.

Rounding out the cast, Jimmy Akingbola will appear as Geoffrey, Jordan L. Jones will star as Jazz and Simone Joy Jones will play the role of Lisa.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot is inspired by Morgan Cooper's trailer that reimagined the classic sitcom as a drama. After gaining thousands of views across various social media sites, Cooper met up with Smith to discuss his work. Months after the two met, the reboot was formally shopped around to various streaming platforms.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot has landed on NBC's streaming platform, Peacock, but a release date has not been revealed yet.
