Ayesha and Steph Curry are expanding their family!
On Friday (March 1), the business mogul, 34, announced that she is pregnant, expecting her fourth baby with her NBA star husband, 35, in a cover story for her magazine, Sweet July.
"For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done. We said, 'Three, that’s it, we’re not doing this again.' And then, last year, we looked at each other and agreed we wanted to do this again," Ayesha shared. "For me, the decision came from always finding myself looking around and feeling like somebody was missing. I would load up the car and think, 'Oh, I forgot something.' But nobody was forgotten. It started to turn my brain a little bit. Maybe somebody was missing. So we set out on this journey, knowing that this would complete our family."
Ayesha went on to discuss "how much is different" with this pregnancy, sharing that she's a lot busier than she has been before given that she has three "older children, who have full lives and schedules," that she's balancing in addition to work and "all the family things."
This pregnancy is also different for the expecting mom because she said it will be her last. "... One of the biggest differences is a new understanding that this really does pass by in the blink of an eye. And in the blink of an eye, it could also all be taken away. That’s encouraged me to slow down and take in every single little thing—especially with it being my last pregnancy," she shared in the cover story.
Ayesha and Steph's new bundle of joy will join their three children: daughters Riley, 11, and Ryan, 8, as well as their son Canon, 5.
