President Donald Trump appeared to call a reporter "piggy" while being questioned about the Jeffrey Epstein files ahead of a vote that could force their release.

While aboard Air Force One on Friday (November 14), Trump snapped at the reporter, saying, "quiet piggy," as she began her question about federal records related to the late convicted sex offender. The president then appeared to wave a finger in her face.

The exchange came on the heels of Tuesday's (November 18) House vote on whether to release all unclassified files related to the Epstein investigation.

Last week, House Oversight Democrats released several emails in which Epstein claimed that Trump “knew about the girls.” Trump has long maintained his innocence and claimed he had a falling-out with Epstein.

A wide range of Republicans have broken ranks and said they plan to join Democrats in backing the bill to release the files. Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson had attempted to avoid the vote for months, arguing that the bill lacks sufficient protections for Epstein’s victims. However, Trump abruptly reversed course on Sunday (November 16) and told House Republicans to support the disclosure of the files as the effort gained bipartisan support.

If the House signs off on the bill on Tuesday, its future in the Senate remains unclear. Majority Leader John Thune hasn't indicated whether the chamber will take it up. The measure would have to clear the Senate and secure Trump's approval to trigger action by the Justice Department, which would have 30 days to release most of the remaining records.
